We are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to join an established manufacturing business following a period of organisational change. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded, adaptable professional who enjoys being involved in all aspects of the supply chain and helping drive operational efficiency.

Working closely with the Operations Director, you will oversee day-to-day supply chain activities, manage supplier relationships and ensure materials are available to support production requirements. As part of a relatively small site team, you will need to be comfortable taking a hands-on approach and working collaboratively across the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Oversee inventory control, materials planning, warehousing, receiving and stock availability.
  • Coordinate logistics and transportation, ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of materials.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules and material plans in line with demand forecasts.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce material costs, improve supplier performance and optimise stock levels.
  • Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to achieve the best balance of cost, quality and service.
  • Support new product introductions and production ramp-ups.
  • Maintain accurate material costings, planning data and inventory records.
  • Work closely with production, quality, engineering and other departments to resolve supply chain challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Provide hands-on support to the wider team, contributing wherever needed to ensure smooth site operations.

About you

  • Experience in supply chain management, procurement, purchasing, inventory or logistics.
  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong supplier management and negotiation skills, with a track record of identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Good understanding of inventory control, materials planning and transportation.
  • A practical, flexible approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable working in a small team where collaboration and a willingness to get involved are essential.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can take ownership and work independently.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Fluency in Spanish is essential.
  • Good English communication skills are also required.

What’s on offer?

  • Salary of €45,000–€55,000, with flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
  • A key role with direct access to the Operations Director.
  • The opportunity to take ownership of the supply chain function and influence operational performance.
  • A varied, hands-on position with scope to identify and implement improvements.
  • The chance to make a meaningful contribution within a close-knit manufacturing operation.

Interested? If you’re a hands-on supply chain professional who enjoys variety, solving problems and building strong supplier relationships, we’d love to hear from you.
